2009, #03, March 11 “More sales people, less acocuntants”

It’s the middle of March and Taco night is truly on a rampage.  It feels great to see everyone on such a regular basis.

In attendance were: Jeff, John, Robert, Kenn and Doug.  El Burrito Jr was the venue. It was selected by a landslide vote after an alternative in Hawaiian Gardens was proposed by Robert.

Jeff is recovering nicely from Pneumonia, and remains apprehensive over his employment status with LB Unified. He’ll know more on Monday.  Kenny related more fascinating stories about the perspective of his companies executive who are visiting from Great Britain. Our favorite story was when the CFO asked how can we increase sales he’d suggested he hire more sales people and less accountants.  Priceless, you really had to be there to here Kenny tell it.  John has placed the Elise up for sale on the Lotus board and will adjust the price as needed. Robert is enjoying his STi, and didn’t let pass a chance to say I told you so, (regarding his restaurant choice) when the restaurant refused to make an Al Pastor Quesadilla. It was a strange moment that included a blank stare, (actually a stare down) between Doug and a server who appeared to be doing that “no comprende English” thing.  All I wanted was three things that I knew he had, combined.

I have an important link for everyone who loves Tacos.  This fellow goes to Taco stands and even small restaurants and taco trucks and reviews them.  He takes pictures and appears to do a great job.  His site says he’s been at it for 2 years. He really is doing God’s work for us.
